I respectfully acknowledge that my office and studio, located here in Ottawa, reside on the unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. I acknowledge the Algonquin’s as keepers of the Ottawa River Watershed and its tributaries. I acknowledge the historical oppression of the lands and Algonquin Nation and continually strive to respect this land lovingly and with gratitude. I sincerely offer my gratitude to the Algonquin Nation for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we all continue to honor those teachings.
